Meet Keith
From the law to the grooming table.
After a successful career in law, Keith and his wife welcomed two golden retriever brothers — Ringo and Rolo — into their lives during lockdown. What followed was a crash course in just how much mischief two exuberant retrievers can find: mud, puddles, unidentifiable countryside discoveries, and more baths than anyone had bargained for.
Somewhere in all that, Keith discovered he loved the grooming process — the calm of it, the care, the transformation at the end. He went on to qualify with the IPET Network at Mrs B's Grooming Academy in Leeds, where his trainers noted his natural ability to put dogs at ease.
Keith brings the same professionalism and attention to detail to every groom that he has applied throughout his working life. Your dog is in safe, experienced hands.

No kennels. No other dogs barking through the wall. A purpose-built home salon in a converted garage — fully equipped, calm, and set up around your dog's comfort.

Where are you based?
4 Castle Meadows, Hall Green, Wakefield WF4 3QJ — a purpose-built home salon in a converted garage, two minutes from Newmillerdam Country Park.
Are you qualified?
Yes — Keith is IPET (iPET Network) qualified, trained at Mrs B's Grooming Academy in Leeds. Fully insured.
Will my dog be on their own, or with other dogs?
On their own. We groom one dog at a time, in a quiet home — no kennels, no other dogs barking. It's the right setup for nervous dogs, puppies, and anyone who finds busy commercial salons too much.
How much will it cost?
Full prices are published on our pricing page — small dogs from £40, medium from £50, large or doodles from £60 for a full groom. We'll always confirm the price before we start, and we don't hide surcharges.
How long does a groom take?
A full groom is usually 1.5 to 3 hours depending on size and coat. Puppy first grooms are shorter (45 minutes to an hour) so we can take it gently.
